• Cats: Highly Effective. Cats will find it very difficult to get their teeth through the dense polyester fabric, and the zipper prevents them from swathing the sleeve open.
  
  
• Dogs: Moderately Effective. The zipper adds a strong structural hold, meaning a dog cannot shake or pull the cables out of the sleeve. However, a large dog with strong jaws can still bite through the polyester fabric if left unsupervised for a long time.
  
  
• Rabbits & Rodents: Not Recommended. This is made of standard polyester fabric. Rodents and rabbits can easily chew straight through the fabric and the plastic teeth of the zipper.
