• Cats: Highly Effective. Cats dislike the texture of woven mesh, and the polyester fabric absorbs minor bites easily without puncturing through to the inner cables.
  
• Dogs: Moderately Effective. It will protect against casual chewing or puppy teething. However, if a large dog is left unsupervised and is determined to destroy the cord, they can eventually chew through the fabric layer.
  
  
• Rabbits & Rodents: Not Recommended. Rabbits, chinchillas, and rats have exceptionally sharp, continuously growing teeth designed to cut through tough materials. They can slice through standard polyester sleeving relatively quickly.
